There is a new post on the Nebraska thread that said the dealer is getting 5 demos. and 13 delivery cars this month. By that token KC should get about 26 to 28 for delivery. That would correlate fairly close to my numbers.

I have #1180. I got voice mail and and email that just said soon. My phone call to 'Smart Center of Merriam' provided the information MY car is in Baltimore and will be available before month end. The lady I talked to (Amanda Perkins?) said the showrrom remodel is almost complete and should be open Monday the 14 with demo rides available that week.

Well, crap. I called my dealer, and she took my reservation number & said she'd check on it, because I wasn't in the first shipment. I just got off the phone with Amanda Perkins of Aristocrat (Smart of Merriam) and she said she couldn't find my reservation number. She 'assumed' it was because I'm not in the first shipment...but I wonder should I be worried?? Didn't they-the dealers-get a Fed Ex package with all the reservations in their area? OMG...now I'm a little worried. Good grief...I'm emailing smartUSA. I've waited too long for something to go haywire now.

are you still surprised? really? remember where your number is. i haven't seen anybody above 1174 even post on here that they have been contacted. from what i have seen, it appears that only the cars that were confirmed from the Aug 27 e-mail will be in the first shipment. if their logic works, you would seem to be 2 months away.

more numbers to digest. at the San Diego center, the list is well over 1,000 peeps. they are only getting 22 cars in the first shipment.

A few days ago one of the reps told me that the list they were getting was for January deliveries ONLY. I have 1184 and really will be surprised if the car is available before the first of Feb. So all is still OK

The January only thing appeared on another post, I believe from Nebraska.

absolutley. the only cars they are getting next week are for Jan deliveries and are for the early reserves only. not sure what qualifies as early reserves, just what i was told.

bmx: I wasn't freaked out because I wasn't in the first shipment. Really...I didn't figure I'd be there, I AM-after all...1189. I was just anxious because she didn't FIND my res. number. All is OK. I've gotten back to center. I think I'll just stay away from the forums & wait patiently. If I keep getting tidbits of info here & there...well, I just get antsy, that's all! After all these months of nothing...and then here we go, the dam is open. I've got the dealership's number, she's got mine. All is good. (Breathe in...breathe out...)
