DB: mid to late march? Really? 1180 is getting his before the end of the month. You're only 4 numbers away. I would think you'd be in Feb. sometime. Are they only getting one shipment a month?

I've gotten back to center. I think I'll just stay away from the forums & wait patiently. If I keep getting tidbits of info here & there...well, I just get antsy, that's all! After all these months of nothing...and then here we go, the dam is open. I've got the dealership's number, she's got mine. All is good. (Breathe in...breathe out...)

Thanks for getting me back on track folks.

it's good to be excited. i just don't want you to lose your mind hahaha.

Well! How impolite to ask a lady her age!

Just kidding!! I'm 46. I'm getting the impression from these boards, and the canada site, that the spectrum is wide as far as age. Youngsters, and oldsters, and us in between. (Yeah..I'm a tweener! HAHA!!)

Yeah, I stood in line with a young girl in college, and a retired man. So, yes...it attracts all ages. I think it's more of an attitude, really. Me, personally, I just gotta be different! And this new baby car is SO VERY different. All the other things are just icing.

I'm probably going to go week after next to dealership for another test drive. This time, it'll be in the REAL US version. So I can see just how solid & luxurious everyone has been saying it is. (smiling & clapping...) Weeeeee!!!

A,

Sometimes there is a difference between the words and the action, BUT, after I told them I would not spend that kind of money without a serious test drive (hours not minutes and miles not blocks) that it might be possible for me to have a demo one over night.

db

P.S. The monument sign is up so it is similar to the MB monument

i have not even seen one of the US versions yet. didn't go to the road show. i go to europe a couple of times a year and have seen them there for years. obviously we are getting the newer version. anybody who has been to paris knows how bad the parking is. i took this pic there last May. funny.
