Welcome, relax, breath deeply, bite your tongue, it will happen. When the invitation to confirm and configure arrives make very sure that you know what you want and get properly configured, there have been some glitches in the program and people have not ordered all the add-ons they really wanted.

That's true Dbwill, that happened to me, I didn't order the fog lights, the alarm and the clock & tach and now I regret that.

Welcome Lockheed. A good idea will be to go to the "configurator" ahead of time, play around, click on the column of "interior", "exterior", etc... list on the left, even if you've opted for a "package" beforehand, just to see and FIND all what's available and you may want. Sometime, a window will pop-up and ask you if you want a specific option, that it is not compatible with a previous one that was already added through a package, "are you sure you..." and so on. That way, once you're invited to configurate, you'll know where is what, and be ready to finalize already fully informed. Enjoy!
Many smart smiling miles.

Hi, just recently joined 05-05-08, reserved on 04-07-08, #1558. You seem to be involved in a lot of the goings on. I wondered if you had any idea at what point the DDE would start trying to give an estimated date? All I get so far is "cannot be estimated" Is it based on confirmation? or does it just take time....

Thanks very much. Have enjoyed getting bits of info from everyone, kinda helps the waiting game go a litter easier.

Yeah, I have played with the "configurator" at the very least four times a week. As for the options, I was fairly sure I wanted the Comfort package on the Passion. But after test driving one with those features, I found the leather to be not as comfortable but loved the heated seats.

Just need to figure if electric steering ,beige interior ,red interior and I think I should be able to finalize the last of my options.

Thought about the alarm system, but I have read about problems with it. Didn't think it would be worth the trouble but I didn't think about the fact people might want to steal the car for its mpg.

Oh well, just time to sit back and watch the gas prices go up until its time to configure.

I have all the factory accessories and IMHO they make it a complete car, if finances are not a real problem. I also have had no problems, except that that last week the shifter began to feel balky. Went by Aristocrat and they had me in and out in about 5 minutes.

The leather is not quite as soft as the cloth, but it is my belief that with proper care it will last longer while looking better.

Melinda gave me my vin a few weeks ago and I tracked the ship to Baltimore. It landed 5/6. Don't know when my smartie was put on the truck but am trying to wait patiently. I reserved 4/28/07.
