Hiya kids! Here's what I think

.
If we want to build a large social network, then get-togethers are the way to go. After a while, genuine friendships will blossom and, next thing you know, we'll be throwing Anita a birthday party

, or we'll be swimming in Don's pool or we'll be "cruising" with Andy

or you'll all be coming to MY house for grilled burgers!

Wait...
We can't expect Aristocrat to do this for us. Any strong, long-lived group has to be self-sustaining.
Now, to play devil's advocate

, do we want this? I LOVE socializing with friends! And it seems my chores/job/marriage often take a backseat for that very reason! I'm not complaining (altho my yard/boss/wife might!), but if we all agree that we each need and want more friends, well, THIS is an excellent way to get there! But it's gonna take some work

.
Me, personally, I think a person is as rich as he/she has friends. So I'm IN, sign me up, let's go!
Someone may already have done so, but a comprehensive list of Owners needs to be compiled (maybe this forum has a List Maker function?), and names, email addresses, phone numbers, along with car info needs to be gathered. Some type of meeting (place, date and time) needs to be set. Then, those who want to (and are able to) play will show up. The others won't.
Now, who would want to volunteer for this job???
Methinks a regular date for meeting would be a good first step. And, probably like a lot of us, I have so many things going on, there is NO perfect date or day! I'll make it to some events and won't to others.
There are countless ways to organize things. This 'marathon' post was off the top of my head. Whomever volunteers to be the ? (KC Smart Czar) will have their own ideas.
Again I ask who would want to DO such a thing???
Smiles,
Terry
