Lawrence,KS Trip

I would like to meet Everyone in the Mo-Kan Club,

So all of you should come down to Lawrence.

We can drive around town and up on The Univ. of Kansas Campus, were we can take nice looking pics of are Smart by are Football and Basketball Stadium. We can eat lunch in are downtown or go off the main street's. For all of you Ladies there are a lot of shops to shop at.

But I can't wait to meet Everyone so see all you here!

The thought was to meet in Lawrence by 11:00am on the 7th of November and then do some touring and some lunch. I will trust that you can get us around to areas of interest. How many are planing on making the drive? Lets get a head count so Willie can reserve spots in front of his store. Thanks Willie for taking this over.

Ur welcome Andy, I just found out how to get the spots reserved for that day, So far there are 3 people. I'm talking to the store to the North of me it's called Brits to see if they want spots for there Mini Coopers also.

Willie, please only Smart Cars!!! I have nothing against Mini's, but it's a Smart car event. There will probably be 7 to 8 of us coming. We talk about this drive, last Saturday while in Weston Mo. See if you can, make reservations, at Free-state Brewery for lunch.

Big Panda-No I wish, I did, I went to the Univ. of Tenn for about 4-week then a family matter came up and I came back to Lawrence, KS. My dad went to the Univ. of Kansas St, tho. We own a college store here in Lawrence since 1981 and we had a store out in KSU since 1970 and closed it in 1997. Big Panda how is the weather up in indy? Are Friend owns about 4-5 college stores at the Univ. of Purdue.

When it gets closer and have a good head count Ill make the reservations there if everyone is ok with that?

OK the place to meet in Lawrence is 935 Mass St. Lawrence, KS 66044 at 11:00am. If you are planning on joining a caravan let us know so that we will know to wait for you. There will be one from the north side of town (I-70) and on from the south (K-10). This is a head count that I am aware of between the replies and responses at our last gathering. If I missed anyone or you are not going to make it and are on the list please let me know.
