If you want guys what we can do is go to Walmart all of us once you get here so anybody can pick the things of your choice, it may be easier to please everybody in that way don't you think?? Just bring your list to make the shopping faster.
Or the other option still open (we buy everything prior to your arrival)

Dr. Hicks' wife wrote me back, they are unable to attend on sunday, Diana and Gary can't make either, so the list of people attending still the same unless some people confirm with Andy.

So what do you like better go as a group to Walmart and pick everybody favorites items or you let us go before you get here to get them??

Judging from the enormous (lack of) response, it doesn't matter!

1. It would save us time if the shopping were already done BUT,

2. We have nothing but time! For me, driving 90 minutes TWICE for a 15 minute meal is silly! So, to use up some more time, I vote to shop together. That could be our activity... Whooo-hooo! We can try on clothes, play football in the toy aisles, and roll tires around in the automotive section! Let's just make sure we have the food purchased FIRST, so when we get kicked out, we don't go hungry!

3. Clinton had a good question. I'll try to answer it, but I may be Wong, I mean WRONG. Clinton, if you don't want to eat what's on the menu, sure, bring your own food and no, you DON'T have to chip in. Just pay me the customary $25! What are you bringing? Maybe we want to eat what YOU bring! Just kidding.

I suggest that Terry can stop at Arthur Bryants and pick up about 20#'s of Pulled Pork and Burnt Ends.....YUMMMM!!!

Of course, he has to put some aside in his freezer for my wife and I when we come out the next time!

So once again, it looks like the Trail of Trash coming from KC will be Sr. Swatch, Smark & Wonderful Wife, and yours truly. Wish Clinton could go! We'd put him in front so we could draft him!

We got around 4" of rain in Gladstone today. I hope you didn't get anywhere near that amount in Emporia or we'll need pontoons for our cars!
