Monthly club meeting this Sunday 08/30 @ 4:00pm

Who is going to join me at the Denney's on 105th and Metcalf at 4:00pm this Sunday (08/30) to discuss where our club is and where we would like our club to go. I would like to make these a regular monthly occurrence. What say all of you?

After all the work of moving Karen's dad over the past 5 weeks, today he passed away. This was neither totally unexpected nor unwelcome, but still the shock and finality hit pretty hard. Now we get to go through the whole "let's liquidate an entire house-full of stuff" project AGAIN. :-(

Not sure what Sunday holds for me, but if I can, I will be there.

Bob Storck - I have a white Four Two basic Pure

I'm less interested in events, but am always willing to contribute to social projects. I'd suspect many Smart owners are conscious of their ability to help our community, etc.

Largely would like to share parts, tips and techniques.

I have:

• A solution with repair kit for most of the flat tire issues
• A solution to check tire pressures with the Pure hubcap clearance
• Alternatives to the clunky (and likely illegal) Aristocrat license plate frames
• Better way of attaching license plates, and correcting if misaligned by dealer

Seeking:

• Yellow body panels - complete set
• And/or blue front panels and red rear. Will trade white.
• Info if anyone has changed top color or removed that panel
• Parts to convert my driver door to electric windows (any Smarts in wrecking yards?)

Thanks to everyone that came out to join us today. I really enjoyed meeting some more new faces and welcoming the new members. Lets plan on the same thing next month and meet on the last Sunday of the month. Steve, thanks for the pictures.
