I have brought this up at past meetings and I am asking again if anyone would like to join tigerwong58 and myself in representing the MO-KAN smart car club? Here is a link to the World of Wheels web site with all the information about where, when, and how to register. So far we will have a coupe and cabrio to represent the smart and both in all black, but I would like to see a few of the other colors maybe even a 450 or a new Brabus. I understand that this is a Hot Rod show and that most of you are asking why. Well this would be a great time to get our clubs name out there and potentially get new club members. Also some of you may not think that your cars are special enough for a show like this, but that is not true. I know that you all are very proud of your cars and like to show them off so why not an event like this. Just ask Terry S how much fun he has had and how much attention these little cars get at these kind of events. If you decide to register at the bottom of the registration form check the club box and enter the club name MO-KAN smart car club so that they will know to place us all together. Please let me know if you have any comments and I hope that you decide to join us. Oh, one more thing, this also applies to anyone in the surrounding area or bordering states that want to make the trek and join us.
I'm interested! May have to hire you to make my car pretty enough to show, but that's OK!
I must determine the date of another February event I'm involved with, but if all goes well, I'd LOVE to be in it! Haven't found the registration info (cost) yet, but I just glanced at it. Tell me your plan for displaying the cars. How 'bout we lay yours on it's side to show the bottom! :-) I love the use of mirrors, spots lights, etc that they use!
We'll go!!! But just to see your cars!!!
Unfortunately we may be able to go just that saturday or sunday(Feb. 28th or March 1st) and it looks like the cars have to be on display for 3 days.
For those of us that won't display our babies we can meet there and have fun with the ones showing off their beloved cars!!
It looks like we'll be able to go to the World Of Wheels car show. Planning on sending the registration money next week! It looks to be a ton of fun and like Andy said a great way to promote the MO-Kan smartcar club! Does anyone know if they will let us have electricity to use at the show? Laser Lights would be cool to accent our cars. Hopefully Terry can go! We need some other colors to represent. I think on the registration site it said your fee had to be turned in 20 days before the event. That would be Feb. 8, I think! You still have time to decide for sure!!

will be eligible for sales or samples.
N0 smoke for you big guy
I just saw this on the form: My Entry will require an electrical outlet (Fee paid at move-in)
Even though I may not be in attendance at WOW, I am excited about it!
Who has a real-life R/C controller we can use as a model for our cardboard mock-ups??
Be looking around for items and materials that would help, such as things useable for antennae, thumb-controllers, switches, etc.
Andy could use some help! Wait, that came out wrong... I MEAN there is a lot to do and while tempting, it is unfair to expect Andy to do it all.
So, I will take responsibility for writing the Flyer. I will post parts of it for your consideration here, and will send the (mostly) final version to Andy for inserting graphics and for outputting.
What we need is a lot of energy and enthusiasm! Well, that and brains...
I just read all the updates in the club forum, everything looks good.
We might be able to go sunday March 1st, since we got last saturday off from work to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversarie I don't think we could go on saturday.
Anyway see you guys soon.
