Next Long Island smart Rally is going to be out East..... We are going to meet up on August 17th which is a Sunday at 11:00 AM at Long Beach in Sag Harbor. I will be posting an itinerary and detailed driving directions for all to follow. If you do not travel the way I instruct you to you will sit in trafific for hours so pay close attention. I figure we will do some touring and then either have lunch somewhere on the route or a BBQ at my house I have not decided which yet.

DIRECTIONS Heading east into the Hamptons from Sunrise HWY. This is a link to google maps from rt 27 in Southampton. There are signs to Sag Harbor at this light. You make a left on Sandy Hollow, another Left onto North Sea Rd. and then a right on Noyac rd. This takes you all the way out and avoids all the Montauk HWy traffic which can end up taking an hour or better to get to Sag HArbor. Long Beach Rd is clearly marked and you will see smart cars even before you have made the turn. I am looking forward to seeing everyone!

Please.... If you are coming to the Hamptons Gathering this week-end and are bringing a friend or significant other, let me know so I can shop accordingly. So far I think we are 7 plus.

Not Cool..... I spent money on food for people and only 2 showed. Not a call, not a note on the board, nothing! I am annoyed.

Any update on this event? Not sure if I can make it, and I have asked NYSmartie if he will be attending and I expect to hear back from him later today. Would like to meet you folks...
