Tinytude update, just had to call for service, my shifter has stopped shifting...they are picking it up tomorrow...so hopefully it will be back by next weekend...

Since this is a "big" weekend, and seeing how fast those shifter boxes fixes have been done elsewhere, it would not surprise me that, if they pick up the car in the morning, you'll get it back the same evening... Let's hope.

Lake Grove here (Fairfield apartments on 347). I'm about 5 miles from the Smithtown smartcenter, so I guess I'm the second-closest to that dealership ;)

But I only just reserved my smart last week, so unfortunately I won't have mine for a while... I am however on the orphan list so there's hope. So even though I don't have mine yet, I'd still like to be involved in any get-togethers in the LI area

I reserved a blue/black Passion, but when it comes time to configure I may switch to blue/silver instead (like yours, it seems :]). Or if a nice silver or black orphan pops up I'll consider that too.

you might want to get on the orphan list as well. could be faster.

Oh I already am, trust me

But I don't think I really need to be on the orphan list anyway, since my DDE is Nov. 2008 - Dec. 2009 (and I'm definitely patient enough to wait for that)
