I think Captree is a good place to meet up. I worked out of the boat basin for twenty years, and haven’t been back in fifteen. I’ve heard the Pavilion and concession stand were redone. It will be nice to see the place again. From there we can cruse to the lighthouse or down to Jones Beach. We’ll arrive around 1pm; give the sun a little time to come out. It will be chilly!

Sorry I couldn't make it... I went to the hand car wash in Westbury off Old Country Rd so I could have nice shiny Smart to meetup with you guys. However, somehow they managed to get my drivers seat stuck in the most forward position!!! They couldn't fix it but were able to somehow move it back a little so I could drive it home.
Spent the last hour removing the seat just so I could fix the damn thing.

I hope I can make one of these meets!

Didgesmart, sorry to hear of your problem. Anyway you didn't miss anything. Alan showed up, and the wife and I spent a little while with him at Captree. It was a bit windy and chilly so we took off and went shopping.
Nice meeting you Alan, maybe we can set up something long range. Mark the calendar, Spring Time, we're always open for a ride. Have a very happy holiday.
