No longer a smart owner (Temporarily, I hope)

Well, I did it, I sold my bumblebee today to my friends in NJ. I'm trusting the company to actually come through as promised (for once) and actually get me the replacement for my reserved bee by September. I'll miss the little car until my new one comes in. (Fingers crossed). I still love it and want one of my own.

If they screw this up like they have everything else, I'll take it as the final sign I'm not supposed to have one, and buy something else. I'm giving them until September. To all the others out there who adopted an orphan and want to keep their reserved car: Make the dealership aware, and not just verbally, that you actually want your reserved car even though you have an orphan. Simply not cancelling your reservation isn't enough with this dealership. They admitted to me that they've sold other reserved cars without checking with the reservation holder if that person has adopted an orphan. Be forewarned.

If you were not supposed to have one, what do you call yourself being a former "owner"?

Chin up.

I think she used smithtown... They are kinda slimy there, especially with the financing and whatnot. They really tried to take advantage of me cause I guess I look younger than I am. I used a few classic plays and got what I wanted (or at least acceptable terms) but still I got a bad feeling with them.

Hi everyone,
Sorry to disappear like that, I was gone for work. I did use Smithtown. I did/do have a number of problems with the dealership, but they're the only one in Suffolk.

Smithtown Dealer

I've had no problems with Smithtown like NY Smartie said, Smithtown has been pretty good as Dealers go. Maybe it's cause I paid cash!
