NYC Mileage
Hey NYC Smarties,
Have you clocked your NYC milage. I did 100% NYC driving to get a reading and I got a disapointing 25 mpg. What have you found?

I live in Queens, work in Manhattan and drive about 15-18k a year. I have been getting an average of 37 combined but in NYC (including the outer Boroughs) I have been getting 30-32. I have about 4000 miles on my smart so far. I am jealous of all those on the forum that are reporting 40 and even 50 mph.

about 60 miles hwy rest purely local(332 miles) on tankful got 40.57 MPG!!!

Mmmm but you are from LI right? LI is not NYC. Was this all NYC driving? If so, what's your trick?
