hey, looks like Suffolk County's numbers are growing! I picked mine up from Smithtown Smart center on Friday 4/18. I scored an orphan; Silver/Black/Black Passion Coupe. All the options except the fogs and dash gauges.
LOVING IT!! let's set up a Suffolk County chapter. It's great to organice drives and get-togethers. Looking forward to chatting with you folks and the like.
Growing we are! I saw a silver/silver on Wheeler Rd this afternoon and the driver waved at my bumblebee when we passed!
THAT WAS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo cool beans!! I work in CI @ the courthouse, and was heading home to the Smithtown area. Guess you are doing the opposite.
question: do you go to Pat's 111 deli? cause this morning he said, "yeah, my customer (insert name here) just got a yellow one" yadda yadda..
PS. mine's a silver/black/black tho. guess you missed the black stripe on the side. easy to do I imagine.
anyhow, this is great that our numbers are growing. more to follow I am sure!!

Way cool! I work in Commack and was on my way home to CI. And I've never been to the deli, so there must be another yellow in the neighbourhood. I've seen a ladybug (red/black) on the LIE service road turning north onto 111, and a bruiser (blue/black) coming south on 111, so we're growing! And sorry about missing the silver/black (we need a nickname for that colour combo), I was just happy to see one and get waved at! I wonder how many there are now in Suffolk?
There was a fresh delivery at smart center Smithtown this morning (Monday, 21 April). There were about a dozen cars, beyond the showroom and demonstrator models. I don’t think they will be there very long........

I guess the folks at Smithown Smart center would have a vague idea. it would be fun to organize some stuff for this Summer. Oh, BTW, I asked the deli guy this morning re you, and he said no, that his customer as a BLUE one, so, that is yet another one in our area!! heh heh!!

I am so excited about getting my smart. Black/Black passion. It was loaded on the ship on Monday (April 21), and the dealer told me May 16, so I think that sounds pretty realistic.
We should definitely start a Suffolk County smart club. I checked out the pictures and video from the San Diego get together that was posted here recently, and it looked like a lot of fun.
I had two recent smart sighting. I saw a black/silver Passion (silver tridion - which color do we list first?) at the Borders in Bohemia, and I saw a Blue cabrio with the top down driving south on 112. It was a beautiful day, which kinda made me regret not getting the convertible, but I couldn't afford it anyway.
I'll second and 3rd that motion re the Suffolk chapter. it is sooooooo nice out today, I am bummed to be in this office instead of out cruising in smartie.
in the last few days alone, I've seen one just like mine (Silver/black tridion/black), a yellow one (she's on this list already) and a blue one (she goes to the same deli as me. heh. ).
I am not suggesting starting out at this scale, but I once had 60 Volkswagen cars at my house for a 'Fest, and many others of smaller scale. it's fun to do cruises, BBQs, and even some tech stuff like doing mods and the like.

many possibilities!
I sure am (bumblebee driver here) and I just *had* to go out to lunch today so I could go buzzing down the road. Even chose a farther away restaurant to make it that much more worthwhile.... Wishing I had the cabrio, but I couldn't justify it, and I'm sure come winter I won't mind a bit!
