Sunday July 27th Weather update

There is a good possibility of rain today. We will be in the Chase parking lot around 10:30-ish if anyone still wants to meet. If we decide to go on the ride we can still leave 11-ish, if not, then we can go to the diner across the street.I will be checking for messages here up until about 10. If no one shows I will look into finding another weekend maybe this fall...

I'm not sure how to post a new message on a unlisted topic, but since this is weather related please bear with me. We live in Ohio and our Smart sustained hail damage yesterday afternoon. Does anyone know if a regular body shop can remove dents from the tridium (sp) safety shell? Hail was generaly golf ball size: some approaching tennis ball size in diameter. We were in daughters suv on a beautiful sat. drive when out of nowhere the storm caught us from behind. It was so strange to look out the windows and watch it chasing us down th road. When we got home the street was covered with leaves and some branches. The smart was fine except for the tridium. Thanks for listening. I've got a good body man but didn't know if I would be wisest going to the smart dealership.

Your latter suggestion seems to me to be the right thing to do.
BTW, your question and mishap would have a better exposure in the "Smart Car General Discussion" sub-forum, but here it is...
