What's up with New York dealerships

I know they have the cars. I have seen them with my own eyes, pures passions and cabriolets. Still, all the New York City and Long Island dealers are insisting that they don't have authorization to open yet. Does anyone know what the holdup is? I am wondering whether or not to call smart and transfer my car to a Jersey dealer, even if it means a higher doc fee.

When I spoke with Smart in Roslyn ealrier this afternoon, they are just waiting on their business license so that they can open their doors...

I know my car has been in Baltimore since 12/13/07. I got a call from my Mercedes of Manhattan dealer today who told me he received 5 vehicles (2 showroom and 3 customer). Mine was not among them. The story is still that they're waiting for DMV license.

I'm, a 1176 and was told my car wasn't in their first shipment from the pier along with their demo cars...

I am 1187 with 11/19 confirmation date

I'm 1174 and same here in Albany....expecting it any day.....
