Smarty-Q In O.C.

Just throwing this out there:

Anyone interested in a BBQ? It's getting close to summer, and there's some very nice parks around.

Being as I'm not located in Los Angeles or San Diego, I was thinkin' maybe combine forces and have a BBQ in Orange County (it's between both counties, right?)

Just looking to see if there's any interest...

Your pal,
Meat.

P.S. I cross-posted this in the L.A. and S.D. Chapters.

That sounds like a great idea. We really need someone who knows the area to host.

Have smart, will travel.

I'm game. I suggest a park near the beach for lower temperatures.

I am up for an OC meeting. Relatively new to the area, so prefer knowledgeable locals to recommend a place.

Well, there's two options that I'm thinking of:

1. There's a car show in July at a local park in Anaheim, which is mid(ish) way between L.A. and S.D. We could crash their party.

2. I can approach the city of Huntington Beach and see if they'll let us park our cars next to the pier ... but I'm going to need a BUNCH of cars to accomplish this. And I'm not sure if they'll let us BBQ there (we're only 100 ft from the beach, though).

Thoughts?

Your pal,
Meat.

I'm in. Hunnington sounds good.

The only park I know of is the one next to my house (Jeffrey trail), can't remember if they have BBQ there or not ...
