Visiting Anaheim, any advice?

My wife and I are driving our cabrio down from Tacoma in a couple of weeks for a business trip/vacation. I'm not the amusement park type, is anything else that area has to offer?

Do you like baseball? If the Angels are at home you could go to a ball game. The weather here has been great, so going to the beach may be an option. You'll actually be able to put the top down. (born and raised in WA. know all about the weather there) San Diego Zoo or Wild Animal park.

One of the greatest car and musical instrument museums is located in Southern California. Unfortunately, nobody has ever heard of it. It is about 20 minutes north of LA but it is definitely worth the trip. And admission is free. Plan on spending a lot of time there.

Deep Sea fishing, Surfing, rock climbing, controled race tracks, theatre...

I loved living in SoCal because there is so much to do.

I'm pretty much just going to be in town for the weekend and I'll need to be back to the hotel before traffic gets too bad. It's our first time to visit CA, so I'm a little apprehensive about the amount of traffic.

If you see a white/black cabrio with Washington plates, give us a wave.

Try to avoid the 5 freeway as much as possible. At least the LA County part.
