To those of you that have been patiently waiting.... The rack in now in production. We have started to deliver the racks and they look great!

Delivery time is about 10-14 days from the time you order (plus a couple of days for shipping).

How does the rack attach? Does it screw into the tow hook holes? Does it have a quick disconnect? I like the design. How much does it weigh? Sorry for all the questions.

From their website:

Bike rack slides onto machined bike supports specifically designed for the Smart Car
· Locks rack and bikes easily to car using any standard lock and cable

So it sounds like you screw on the machined rods, probably something similar to these (from SGTMAJOR):



Then the rack slides onto these and are locked on, maybe via holes drilled into the rods?

You are very close. The supports are similar to these in design, but not exactly the same and the rack does slide on to the supports and can then be locked in place.

FYI....

Production is on track and we plan to ship out all orders that are placed before the 18th on the 22nd-23rd of September.
