You will have to either go over it as pictured or make a small slit and stretch it around the plate

Very cool, is this designed for people who are trailing their smart or having it on while driving? If it's for driving, do you cut out openings for the radiator opening too so you don't over heat the engine? It's a very hmm strechy fabric.. reminds me of spandex hehe and correct me if i'm wrong but don't think enough air can flow thru it to cool the engine down.

I'd need a button hole over where the tow hook screw in to accommodate the no-holes plate kit.

The radiator hole does seem to make sense even if it is "breathable" fabric.

It is used for both purposes you do not need to cut any holes. There is plenty of breathing available though the material

I installed a scan guage in my Smart to tell me all the vitals as well and have had this on my Smart for 3 weeks now and the temp has never gone over 193 degrees

Have you driven in extreme conditions such as the 112º heat climbing the 6% slopes into CA from OR with the AC cranked with two large passengers and a 400lb camper?

Just wondering here.

That is the worst, gawdawful thing I have seen done to a smart car, and I have seen some horrendous add-ons, good luck with that!

Everyone has there own opinion. This is a great add on for everyday use or for the long trips to keep the front end free of bugs and rock chips. You can also remove it in a matter of minutes.
