There's no questioning this point. I, for one, would prefer actual data on blocking the airflow beyond a few data points in limited weather situations in limited load conditions.
I wouldn't care to risk overheating based on limited information. It seems to me that car temperatures don't fluctuate (thanks to the thermostat installed in the coolant system) until things go very, very wrong. A real understanding would be how much cooling capacity is lost: something it doesn't appear you're prepared to discuss.
If someone overheats wearing this pantyhose mask, we will find out about it through the forum so there's less chance of multiple people experiencing the same fate.
