Group purchase for BRABUS items

I am gathering individual orders received last week into one grouped airshipment in order to save expensive DHL charges.

Please use the link to visit the site and choose:

ALL ORIGINAL BRABUS ITEMS

FLOOR MATS ... SHIFT KNOB... BRAKE HANDLE ... LOGO (not shown)

Some have asked about steering wheel and road wheels. Both have serious safety related issues...i.e. air bag wheel spacers to accomodate larger wheels... I WILL NOT order these items for potential liability situations.

If you are interested...I will place this order in Europe next Thursday hopefully bringing the items here in ten following days (subject to customs)

FOR THIS CLUB ONLY...ORDERS RECEIVED HERE WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING FROM SOUTH CAROLINA TO ANY "LOWER 48"

Contact me directly smartcarparts@aol.com for payment instructions

thanks for your continued support.

I know poeple have mentioned this, but I'll take another try. you really should include thumbnail pics, or at least links, to photos of what you are selling.

I have been to your site, and you have some great stuff. I no doubt will be getting some in the months ahead. But do yourself a favor, take minute (or 20) to learn how to add these to your posts/threads.

Just some friendly advice.

You are mis informed about the safety aspect

Brabus items ( I personally do NOT like the styling) for the smart fortwo are ALL TUV approved. There are no air bag issues with the steerning wheel. The approved Brabus rims exceed the factory ratings and are included on the smart approved Brabus models of the fortwo available for sale in other countries.

If you have customers who like the style, and are willing to pay the high cost of those particular items ,you need not fear any safety or liability issues.

The German TUV* acceptence standards far exceed our USA DoT or other testing agencies standards.

*TUV is short for Technischer Überwachungs-Verein, Technical Monitoring Association in English

i absoluty agree BRABUS parts are safe

but, my concern lies with the individual installation.

i.e. if the steering wheel airbag or other attaching points are not done 1000% correctly there is always the possiblilty of a critical misfunction.

for the wheels, they need spacers to accomodate the larger wheels. perhaps they can be had commercially or perhaps somebody might think they can fabricate them in their workshop.

NO THANKS

with all due respect.

My concern is are these BRABUS parts or "BRABUS" parts with the quotations around the brand name as per your website?

I too have looked into your Brabus items and I will be purchasing some in the near future... but I would like to know what is the difference is between the stock steering wheel and the Brabus wheel. I have looked at the stock and the picture of the Brabus wheel you have posted but I can not tell the difference.

As far as wheel spacers go, it seems that the only parts for the 451 Summit Racing seems to carry are wheel spacers. They have them in a few different thicknesses as well.

wheel spacers are available

As previously mentioned...my instincts are not to sell items which MIGHT become a liability should a mechanical failure occur due to faulty installation.

I have no doubts the products are safe, again, my concern lies with faulty installation i.e. airbag in the steering wheel and spacers not properly torqued.

Both items are available and I will deliver them only on the proviso that a no-fault letter releasing me of responsibility is received to coincide with the order date.

here are the two size spacers available.

THE APPROXIMATE COST TO BE CONFIRMED AFTER NEW INTERNATIONAL POSTAL RATES EFF TODAY, CURRENT EURO/$ WILL BE $170/SET FOB SOUTH CAROLINA

If anyone is seriously interested please contact me directly

smartcarparts@aol.com

as I will be on short two week holiday to return about 18th May.
