I see what you are talking about but there is not much room there to mount a clamp and it would not be too sturdy. The wind could snap it off at speed fly back hit another car and cause a libility issue. The one we designed now is a very sturdy model and could also be mounting to the side to not hit a parking sign if that is what you are going after...lol

By the way they are available in either black or silver powdercoating on it.
