Fitted my front and rear number plate to the Smart using dubble sided mirror tape. Works very well.

Just ordered mine from Dave at http://www.gominigo.com/index.html and received excellent service. Highly recommended.

Figured this needed a bump

Lots of new members on the forums and many just received their smarts or will be getting them soon. If you're required to have a front plate and don't want holes drilled in the front of your car (required for the factory front license plate mount):

Tell your dealer NOW not to put the smart front mount on when your car arrives
and
check out the "no holes" bracket for smarts at: GoMiniGo-Home of Innovative Products for your car - Home

You won't be disappointed.

I just received my personalized plates in the mail on Saturday. I mounted them yesterday and the "no holes" bracket looks great. It was easy to install too. I'm very satisfied with the product.

I was talking to my dealer and all you have to do is tell them NOT to drill it and they won't. Due to they don't get the plates right away so no reason to drill the holes right as soon as you pick up the car.

So, now that I have new panels, I've decided not to drill them - Is this place really the best for the no-holes bracket? Is there not a smart vendor who sells them?

Just order direct from GoMiniGo - they are great folks and a supporting vendor. I've got one of the front plate mounts and it's very easy to put on.

I've got one Suze.

I can show you what one looks like when it ships...

This is what one looks like (with optional “badge bar”): .

It threads into the front tow eye socket. It does not block the right fog light.
