looks good... but i am worried about "fliminess". its a large plastic platform, and the extendable pad canterlevering out makes it more so... or am i wrong?

It does seem to answer of a lot of needs and it does look nice. Flimsiness, however, is also a concern of mine. I've heard of other armrests of this type which have quite a lot of "wobble" in them.

This is BOLTED to the back of the seat! It's an ARMREST. What do you want to do with it? Pilates? If anyone reading is actually shopping for an armrest and is interested, the first batch is going fast.

In your other thread I commended you on the fair pricing of your leather interior kits, but this is honestly not the best way to respond to a potential customer concern. There are a number of product options in this category and price range, and Mark's concern about the arm rest being too flexible is one that I'm sure is shared by other fortwo owners.

A vendor is honest, gives a valid opinion, and gets slammed. Gotta love this forum........ the "me" generation encapsulated. The customer is not always right.

Just my .02; Paul has been on the forums a long time and is a supporting vendor. He's one of the few at smart centers to be proactive about reaching out to the smart community and offering to mail order parts. I've met him and he's genuinely enthusiastic about the smart and assisting smart owners. If the part doesn't appeal to you don't order it.
