This is truly a love it or not not item

Hey guys and gals....

We just started to carry the new Vertical Door for the Smart. This is a very well made kit that is manufactured here in California. It is not a cheap overseas, one size fits all knock off. This kit is a direct bolt on and is easily reversible in case you ever want to go back to the original look.

The installation is very easy and can be done in a couple of hours. The doors swing out like normal and then tilt up.

There are some other made to fit, one size all kits out there, but nothing like this.

We realize this is not for everyone, but some of you that are looking to build a wild, custom Smart car may be interested in this as an option.

So, pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssseeeeeeee eeeeeeeeee if this is not your cup of tea do not pass judgement on others that have different taste than you.

Thank you!

Here is a link to our store page on the item:

It's pretty cool. I'd even think about buying the kit if it was $250, but $1,800? I don't think so...

Best Regards,

I like it, Out of my price range for a novelty item, but if money were no object I would consider it.

I understand, but keep in mind that the "Cheap Lambo" does not have them. The top of the line one still does! :-)

I knew the minute I would put the thread up I'd see this exact picture! :-)

While I'd agree with you on putting a cheap, can't keep the doors on straight, Made in China knock off on a Civic, putting a well made set on a Smart is different. No worries, no offense taken. We knew what was going to happen when we put the offer out there. It's not for all...

Some people think putting wide tires and 17" rims on a Smart is not a good idea, but some love it and would never go back. Our goal is to cater to both types of customers and offer a wide variety of Smart related items and let the owner choose what they would like.

On a personal note... I think the Lambo doors are kind of lame on other cars, but I am seriously thinking about putting a set of these on our Smart. I really am!!! :-)

You can't even buy a crappy china one for $250!

I think the smart can get away with this. It fits with the "quirkiness" of the car.

Looks like a lady bug! Might really be practical in that the Smart doors are so long that in tight parking places they can be a issue.
