Dyno Testing Started Today, Exhaust Stock vs Evil Twin vs CES Performance Twin Center

Our Dyno testing Started today, Exhaust, Stock-Evil Twin- CES Twin center tip!!

It is late in the day and will continue in the morning on the testing.

First let me start off by saying that we are having to run the car right from an idle up through 4th gear full throttle and are only able to capture 1st gear in the low RPMs the rest when it shifts at about 4300 rpm and up. We tried to run the car in manual mod and lock it in 4th at lets say 3000 rpm but when we hit it it down shifted to 2nd. I dont know how they are able to capture a 4th gear pull from 2500rpm with out it downshifting.

So far we ran the car with our CES Performance twin tip center stainless Steel exhaust and got between 69 and 70 rwhp. We then put the stock one back on and ran about 7 times with a max of 65.3 rwhp. When we put the graph up you will see a good pull all the way through the gears shifting. This system has no drone but a nice deep smooth sound. In the morning we will continue our testing by re dyno on the stock system then changing to the CES Performance Exhaust and then the evil twin system. On Thursday we will have another version of our CES Performance Exhaust, Sport or touring version. By the end of this week we will have the video up, sound clip and dyno graph. The CES Performance exhaust will be ready to ship in 7 days. I will have pricing and pics by Wed. It is a all stainless steel system with twin angle cut vented double wall stainless steel tips coming out of the center of your valance.

I will post more in the morning.

Ernie

I'm a little confused... how many different exhaust systems are you making? If so, which one will produce the most horsepower?

The only one made for us is the CES available in two versions Sport or Touring( a Little Quieter). We still have to test the Evil Twin made in Europe and the stock as a baseline. I will be doing so youtube footage of the dyno testing and post it on our youtube page.

Ernie,

First, thanks for making another smart exhaust available so quickly. From the description I understand a hole will have to be cut in the rear valance for the center pipes - correct?

So when are we going to be able to buy the system and how long till it ships? Also is there a HP loss with the Touring system?

We do have the Video up on our YouTube page showing the testing. By the way we did all the testing with the lower valance off ( Not to Pretty), it was easier to work with. I will have more pics soon showing the system with the Valance on and also a drive by clip.

It is very easy to install.

try to get the car on a lift or at least 2 feet in the air.

1. You should remove your lower valance, just a couple push pins on the ends and a few tabs in the center.

2. Use the template we provide to make and cut the opening.

2. Loosen and remove the 2 flange bolts at the top of the muffler.

4. Spray wd 40 on the rubber mounts that hold the muffler in place.

5. Slide the rod of the muffler brace out of the rubber mounts one at a time.

6 Take you stock muffler out.

7 Put our new muffler in place just reverse the procedure.

By the way we will have more pics after our photo session this weekend.
