Do you have pictures of a Smart with the spacers?

Can we add these spacers on a stock Passion with stock 9spoke rims without any modification to the body (no rubbing)?

What are your recommendation for 10mm or 20mm? 10mm in front and 20mm back? 20mm all around?

Is the car handling better with the spacers?

Sorry for all these questions but I am pretty interested in having these and would like some advice...

Thank you
-Nicolas

Will you be selling longer wheel bolts when using the 10mm and 20mm wheel spacers? What are their respective prices per bolt? TIA.

Hello Nicolas,

We have had several customers that have put on 10mm spacers on their smart and have had no issues with rubbing. We have a car with 10mm in the front and 20mm in the back on a set of custom wheels and have not had issues either. I would suggest going with longer bolts if you choose to put on spacers.

In regards to handling... I can't tell you for a fact (did not drive the car), but one of our customers swears that it made it better. To be fair he also put on a set of rear wheels and tires on the front.

Thanks for your reply.

Do you know where I could find pictures of a smart with 20mm spacers and 10mm spacers?

I am sorry Eric, we do not have any pics with the spacers on a stock smart. We have some on smart cars with custom wheels, but nothing with stock wheels.

That would work. I just wanted to see how far out the wheel would be with the spacers... Knowing that the aftermarket wheels are wider I guess...

Thanks

Eric,

I would be happy to do this, but if you are going to put spacers on stock wheels comparing the look of a custom wheel that is about two times wider will not help you in any way. It will not give you a true representation of what your car will look like.

If you still want those shots please let me know and I will take them. I just want to make sure you are well informed about what you would see first.

Long wheel bolts

Boris, correct me if I'm wrong but looking at your pictures of the longer wheel bolts that you offer with the 10 & 20 mm wheel spacers appear to have a tapered seat and not the conical seat that Smart car uses.

We have both kinds of bolts in stock. Some wheels require a tapered seat and some a conical seat. When someone orders a set of spacers we ask what kind of wheels they have and ship the appropriate bolts. We also have wheel locks available in both styles.

We will also have 5 mm spacers available shortly.
