Smart Madness Performance Springs back in stock!

Our last shipment of Smart Madness Performance Springs sold out quickly and have been out of stock for some time. We put a larger order in production and after a long wait we are happy to say that they are scheduled to be delivered to our shop next week.

Unlike other sets currently available this set up gives you great handling with a Progressive Rate set up, softer ride than H&R and a .7" drop in the front and a 1.3" drop in the rear.

Due to how well our springs have done within the smart community and the very positive response we have decided to put them in regular production (being made in Germany to TUV standards, not in China) and placed a very larger order. This order is coming in on the first week of August.

Once the shipment is in we will announce a promo for the smart community, so stay tuned...

Meanwhile here is the direct product link:

im very happy with my smartmadness springs and would reccommend these to anyone. alittle more difficult for the backyard mech to install. it took a couple hours for the fronts, the rear were a snap. randy has a nice video.
thanks boris, nice product.
I have been looking for a solution to the real jolting my passenger feels when I go across an expansion joint, frost heave or other minimal imperfections in the road. In your opinion, will these springs improve that part of the ride??

Thanks,

Fred

Hello Fred,

The springs will make a big difference in the handling of the car, but it will not make the ride softer. The ride will become a bit stiffer and that does not sound like something that you are after.

We are waiting on a shipment on new aftermarket shocks from our supplier. Once they become available we will make the announcement and that is something you may want to consider because that should help.

Hope that helped a bit.

How do the new shocks compare in overall ride quality to coilovers?

We're still waiting for the shocks, so I cannot say for sure until we actually put them on one of our cars and compare the two (one with Coil Overs and the other with Springs and Shocks).

Hopefully the shipment will arrive soon. As soon as it does we will post more information.

I would love more information about the shocks, I have already had 2 bent wheels and hate to have to go thru this every year. I take this car to work daily, back roads, not fast, but the NY roads are pretty beat up. I would love to have something that might help this. Please post the moment you get more shocks...thanks.

Will do. We are still waiting for our supplier of shocks to make the delivery to the US and REALLY hope it comes soon.

You may want to consider getting a set of KW Coil Overs. We have had a number of people in your area complain about the roads and for several of them the Coil Overs did the trick.

In case you would like more info here is the direct product link:

What he said... it looks like SM will have the ability to do some back-to-back comparisons of various suspension mods. Hopefully you can determine the optimum setup that provides great handling and excellent ride quality - if that's possible with the smart.
