Anyone else stop by the Minneapolis auto show?

I was there last night and it was nice to see smart running with the big dogs! The crowed wasn`t as big as last years and I think the number of cars were down. Some of the big brands areas were like a ghost town. Smart had a steady crowd of people even though they only had 3 cars there, or maybe it was because Jennifer was there!

I wish they would of had a better display there, it wasn't the greatest nor was it the best located, but when I was there on Saturday afternoon and Monday evening, it was one of the busiest booths, which I was happy to see, and it seemed like alot of people had a positive attitude toward the smarts!

I didn't go on Saturday. I had a friend up in MN with me and we went to see Dan Akroyd instead.

We were there on the 2nd day. One of our friends was the owner of the 'off-road Jeep' that was on display. Overall, I was surprised at the small crowd. There wasn't the same buzz as previous years. It used to be where you had to wait in line practically to sit in the cars. This year was not the case. Some car mfgr weren't even there. The upstairs where they had the 'Shamwow', 'Wax on Was off' people have moved to a small area downstairs. The conversion van area is gone. The decked-out SUV area is gone. The high performance car area is gone. Yet, they still charge $10.

It was nice to see Joe and Jason there at the Smart display.

Of course if I had to bring home any car, it would be either the Audi R8 or the Nissan GTR.
