Drove past the dealer on Sunday when heading over to my Sister's. She lives about 4 blocks away, I noticed a slightlu bent Smart in the back lot. Damage didn't look too bad. Just curious what happened.
There is a new Smart, metallic grey with silver tridium, all smashed up bad in the service corner of The dealer, saw it yesterday while reserving my own...(kneels and preys it never happens to his smart)
It was damaged in a traffic accident. The drivers minor injury was from the drivers front airbag deploying. The LF suspension/wheel took the brunt of the damage with the structure holding up very well. The windshield did not even break. I believe they said it was hit by a Toyota Camry and that both cars were considered totaled

Hmmmm...front crash between a smart and a Camry and nobody died? How come the news channels aren't all over that?

It's fluke that the driver survived considering IIHS report showing how deadly our car is in front in crash. They only care if they can report grisly details of someones death and sensationalize how bad the car is so no one died no story there.
