Bloomington Smart, Open House 6/14/08

It looks like the open house is set for this Saturday (all day affair). According to "salad" there will be ice cream treats and more. Possibly some snack foods too! I hope to see you all there!

Also I talked to Jennifer today about what our Chapter can do at the open house and she is fine with a sign up sheet, or any other ideas that we may have. (Pictures of our first rally either on a computer slide show or printed) I drafted a sign up sheet so more owners can join our community. It will look something like this:

Sounds good Jeff. What time are most of us going to be at the open house? I`m pretty much open.

...I'll be popping in sometime in the afternoon following my appearance (sans smart this time) in the St. Louis Park "Parktacular" parade. In addition to the small smart car, we own a small, long dog - a miniature dachshund - and for years we've been part of the parade as participants with the "Weiner Walkers" group. Loads of fun (for people and dogs alike). That goes off from 11-1 or so and I won't be able to make it out to Bloomington until after that.

I'm sure we'll be well represented thoughout the day! The more the merrier! I, too, hope we can get some more owners 'signed up' or at least aware of the SCoA to continue to grow our chapter. Obviously, if nothing else any gathering of smart people is bound to be a smart gathering indeed! ;)

Dan it depends, if I can e-mail the sign up sheet to Jennifer so she can print it off and display it until I arrive in the afternoon. If I can do that I will be there around 12-1pm for a few hours. Otherwise I will get there between 10-11am.

So if anyone is around and free on Saturday want to meet at the Smart Center around 12 and hang out for awhile. Maybe drive around the area in a convoy for fun?!? Or get some lunch? I hope the smart center will have food. (Smart Dogs, Smart Cookies, Smart Punch...The ideas are endless!)

I will have the sign up sheet and the video made my Higotcha at the Smart center. Jennifer is looking forward to our attendance.

I will be there around 11-12pm as I have a few chores to complete in the morning.
