Have they started the 2.0 upgrade yet? (at Bloomington)

Just wanted to know if smart center Bloomington had started the 2.0 flash upgrade yet? If anyone from Minnesota has already posted about it, I must have missed it.

I also have had the upgrade. But I never did get a postcard in the mail about it and a buddy of mine tells me that he hasnt gotten any notification about it either. Are they keeping it a secret?

I just happened to be there for something else and they offered to do the upgrade while I was there. Nice folks there at Bloomington

Thanks guys. I haven`t received anything in the mail yet and if I remember correctly I bought my smart around the same time Jeff did. Guess I`ll have to go in sometime and check it out.

I did not hear about an upgrade program. I went into service for a spring check-out and they gave it to me. V2.0 and a new battery.

smart 2.0 service campaign clarification

Hi everyone, here is some info on smart's 2.0 update that will hopefully be helpful;

It covers ALL 2008 smarts and a limited number of very early 09's.

Smart USA will be sending every owner effected by this campaign a notification in the mail.

Due to the number of total units effected, these notifications will be sent out to owners by smart USA in staggered intervals during the 2nd and 3rd quarters of this year. This is being done in staged intervals to ensure that all smart service centers can better serve thier client customers.

It is important to note that the all updates covered in this campaign are by no means things that are urgant in nature, and are definately things that can be scheaduled and completed in conjunction with normal service when it becomes due.

Hopefully this is good, helpful info for you guys. Your team here at smart center Bloomington is committed to keeping your little car a happy and healthy member of your family. We hope that everyone is LOVING their little 8x5 wonder as-much-as WE do!

I didn't know some early 09s might get the update - would we be notified if we brought it in for the 10,000 mile service?

They will check when you call for an appointment, at least they did when I scheduled my 10K checkup.
