I got word yesterday that my car has been put into planned production status. ETA is June. I did stop in and get the VIN number. Ill check in a week or 2 to see if its enroute yet. The folks at Bloomington are very helpful.
I made my intial order on April 14 2007. That makes me an 1199. So just shy of a year since I put my $99 down.
Im excited! But will its still a couple of months to go.
Nice to hear of another MN soon-to-smart-driver! Around 55 smarts have been delivered out of Bloomington smart center so far and as our numbers get a bit bigger (not all of those live near the Twin Cities or even still know about his forum), we're planning a 'meet and greet' or two. Watch for more info very soon - we're hoping that all owners and hope-to-be owners will join us for a meet.

Yea, MN Smart is excellent. I was talking with Dave and I won't get my reserved for awhile. But, he is working on getting me an orphan this summer. Really helpful...hopefully I can get an orphan.
