LARK Toys is an old time toy shop in Wabasha. Years ago they started carving BY HAND the animals for a full sized merry-go-round (or carrosel) in the process, the sold quite a few to private collectors and made a number of hand carved old fashioned toys. I haven't been by there in quite a while but I assume it is still there...

That's right! When its summer in Minnesota if you don't get out and enjoy it enough you'll be sad you missed it when there is snow on the ground.

Marta and I would sure try to join you all for a Fall Rally! I've driven up to the Twin Cities on that backwater river drive and it is beautiful..... slow but beautiful!

I'll keep watching for event details!

No problem!! you are welcome to join in whenever you want!! It is only about a mile for me to be in Wisconsin and there are some great roads through the countryside. Been on quite a few on my motorcyle back in the day.

maybe a trip up to Bloomington for the barbeque on July 27th???

EDITED: Make that July 25th... NOT july 27th...
