My 2009 has hit the shore

Smart Center Virginia Beach told me my 2009 will be at the dealership on 11 Nov, based on that I put my 2008 Passion on Craig's List, within a few minutes I got a call and sold my 2008, with 5000 miles on it, for more than the 2009 will cost. So for a few days I am Smartless.

I was planning to let it go as an Orphan, I ordered it for my daughter, but she changed her mind and wanted a 5 passenger car.

What a deal? I might loose a few bucks on taxes, well so it goes!

All the planets refused to line up for me, so I'm taking delivery on my 09 this coming Tuesday. I plan to take the day off of work and really get to know my new Smart.

I know the 08 is exactly the same as the 09! But the rims on the 09 are different, they extend to the end of the wheel, and dont cut inwards like on the 08.

Soounds like the hold-up on the 2009's has been the emission stickers. Hopefully I'll get the call from Bloomington that my car has arrived in the next couple of days.

Got the email that mine on-the-boat and should be in on the 2nd week of December. Hard to think that this loooong wait may soon be over. What will I obsess over now? Oh, yeah - roller derby. ;-D
