OK, thanks. Now I guess the real question is how much difference in tire size (diameter) can the smart computer (SAM) handle before it goes bonkers? My hands-on test found that the difference between the stock 175/55 Contis and the 175/65 Pirellis was too much for the smart's little brain.
I doubt a small variety in the tire sizes with this situation will cause a problem. The Smarts CPU is not much different than any other car with EPS and ABS. If so, I'll burn out of the Tire Store's parking lot to wear em down.
I got them installed today, they feel and work awesome...we even got some snow here today so I could see how well they worked. (See the "Snow!!!" topic on the chapter forum to see my results.)
