1. We will have a police escort like last year through the entire drive, that helps us stay together soooooo much better since we can run red lights, stop signs and such - Thank you Frankfort Mayor Chris Pippenger and Clinton County Board of Works
2. Walter has about 10 cars coming from the Indy and south area
Many of you are making a weekend of the Boys and Girls Club Poker run and thats great. We will be meeting at the greatest italian restraunt, this side of Rome on Friday night for dinner. Lets meet at 8pm, and if I can get a headcount, I will make reservations for our whole rowdy bunch.
We will meet at Pastariffic in Kokomo at 7pm.
For you map/gps people:
The address is
Pastariffic. 3001 South Webster. Kokomo, IN, 46902. Primary Phone: 765-455- 1312
We will eat at 7pm, that should give everyone time to get there plus help those of us that are starving by then. Missy and I will most likely be there around 6pm.
Oh, sorry for you non Indiana people. Cornhole is a modern equivilant to horse shoes.
You have plywood (2' x 4') cut into a table that sits at about a 30 degree angle. In one end of the board you have a 4" circle. You have two of these "tables" set about 30 feet apart with a player on each end.
Each player has 4 beanbags filled with corn, if you land on the board, you get a point, if you can get it through the hole you get 3 points.
But alas, the tourney will not be held due to United Way issues
I just sent all members an e-mail, in addition to raising funds for the Boys & Girls Club, they will also be accepting donation of gently used coats and jackets for the less fortunate in the community. If you have any you would be willing to donate, please bring them along to the Poker Run. They had a HUGE pile last year from local donations as well as smarties. Let's all help each other out!
