Another yucky day predicted for tomorrow with near zero degree temperatures to set in the day after. Good thing Charlie Brown has heated seats!

Hate to be the "Bear of Bad News" but here's the EXTENDED forecast for Ft Rucker:

Friday: Isolated Thunderstorms, High 75, Low 57

Saturday: Showers, High 68, Low 49

Sunday: Showers, High 69, Low 54

Monday: Showers, High 73, Low 49

While it will be WARMER there, not so much SUNSHINE! Better make sure you pack an umbrella or two........

Hope everyone is well and didn't have any damage from the storms last night.

We had some heavy rain and winds, lightning and such, but only damage we had were some misc limbs in the yard.

BUT we were without POWER from about 10:15pm Friday to 1:30pm TODAY! Thank God that it came on when it did.....it was getting pretty warm in the house and we were getting a bit concerned about our food in the fridge. IPL said that last night they had 14,000 customers without power. When I called about 1:00pm to check in, they had it down to 'only' 4,000 with about 49 in our area. You KNOW they had to be stressed out.

Kudos to Indianapolis Power & LIght for a job well done!!!! All is well now.....WHEW!

We lucked out down here, some rain, but missed the winds and power outages.

I would think that a Big Panda could go on a eating binge and clean out a refrigerator .......

Tell Deer1 I loved the DVD. If anyone didn't get one, it's a great piece of memorabilia to go with your smart.

While this is true, THIS Panda prefers his food cooked, and since we have an ELECTRIC stove, ELECTRIC microwave and ELECTRIC oven, I was out of luck.

We got clipped by that same storm system over here. Our power was out for a whole 10 minutes... but we have a gas stove. It's all good.
