Oops, one of those was the wrong picture, here are a couple more....
I'm on the right, Einsteinsmommy is on the left. We had a great time, and if you can tell in the last picture, I even won an award for my smart! I don't know why they picked me over Einstein, I wish we both could have won. She was very gracious and congratulated me.
I only wish we could have had a larger group. Overall it was a very fun afternoon, I think we each answered about 1000 questions. We made a great team, she had a stack of brochures from SCI and a mirror to show the underbody, I opened the rear of my car up so people could see the engine from up top. It's really funny, there were some really high dollar cars at this show, and people just walked by and glanced at them, but we had a crowd around our cars most of the afternoon. I think we need to start getting commision from SCI, I'm pretty sure there will be at least a couple more reservations after today. What a great afternoon, thanks to Einsteinsmommy for inviting me(and reminding me that it was this weekend).

Not a problem. I had a great time. As I said last night, I consider a victory for one smartie a victory for us all. We had some REALLY tough competition!
There were a total of 163 cars and all proceeds went to an amazing 1 1/2 year old little girl in a fight for her life. She was born with many of her internal organs on the outside of her body and has gone through 7 surgeries already to try and fix it and is facing 2 more at this time that they are unsure whether they'll help or not. Please keep her in your prayers, her name is Addison.
OK, let's give this another try, there is another car show int he area September 21st in South Whitley. I have three potential smarts so far anybody else interested in creating a smartie presence? Trust me, after last weekend, it will be a great time. Please follow the link below for more info:

Let me know, I would love to get 4-6 smarties together before the end of the year!
I'm with WhiteNBlack, we need to get out there and get recognized! I'll be stopping by scI on the 15th to pick up more brochures to hand out.
Also, with many of us northern smarties unable to make the drive to Indianapolis, we need to start having meets up here. I've thought once a month or once every other month would be nice, and then maybe having a full state smart meet once a year. Any thoughts on the subject would be highly appreciated!

I don't know about anyone else but I couldn't access your PDF WhiteNBlack08 so I went in search South Whitley Fall Festival this should get you to their Page of PDF's
Thanks Redwarf, I'm still a little new at posting links, I'm sure I didn't do something right.
magilly00, thanks for the support, are you willing to drive to South Whitley? That's a drive from Hobart.
Einsteinsmommy and I have a joke going, she's going to be President of the Northern Indiana smart club, and I agreed to be Vice-President. Now we just need volunteers for the other officers!
If we can get a couple more smarties, I say we meet that morning in, say Columbia City, and invade South Whitley as a group!
A trip to South Whitley Would be fun,I was in Plymouth @ the Blueberry Festival and that was about half way there, a nice relaxing trip on US HWY 30.I don't know about being a volunteer for the other officers, but I second Einsteinsmommy for President and WhiteNBlack08 for Vice-President.
