Car Shows 2009

The owner of a local pizza place contacted me and asked me to put a message out to any smarties interested in attending a car show. There will be dash plaques for the first 20-40 cars (he hasn't decided how many to get yet) and my little Einstein will be in the picture for the dash plaques!

Where: Mancino's Grinders & Pizza, Pine Creek Plaza 2852 Miller Dr., Plymouth, IN 46563. In front of the Lifeplex along US 30.

When: Friday June 19, 4p-8p

During the time period there will be GREAT deals on food too. $5 Whole Grinders, and $5 16" One Item Pizzas.

There is plenty of parking for everyone. I look forward to seeing you there.

What a great idea! Bummer for us that it's on a Friday night. Just not enough time for us to get up there and back at a decent hour.

Looks like fun and I hope you have a HUGE turnout!

As a reminder for anyone interested, "The Suds" in Greenwood has their 'Car Show' every Saturday night from about 4pm or so on to ??? They have the usual hot dogs, chips and of course ROOT BEER!

But it's more about the people and the cars. It's always a great turnout with nice weather.

We were kind of kicking around the date of June 6th (a week from this Saturday, just before The Dells). Anyone think they can make that date? If not, we could possibly do June 13th.

Nothing special planned.....just a small group of smarties getting together to enjoy each others company.

I know I can't do the 13th, have to work that weekend. I'll have to talk to my scheduler(wife) about the 6th.

I can't do the 6th or 13th. My nephew's 10th birthday party is the 6th and I'll be in the Dells on the 13th. Maybe some other time for me...
