The cruise nite is just that, a night to show off your car, visit with folks, and eat some ice cream from the local shop. July 18th right in downtown Walkerton, which is where we ate before going to the Studebaker Museum in January. Starts at 7:00 and ends whenever you feel like heading back home.
This is a family event. No alcohol (not that this has been an issue for us smarties), please.
I just wanted to post a heads up for the Apple Ridge Car Show at Big R in Warsaw. It will be Saturday, Sept. 12. I don't hav all of the details yet, but I'll post more details when I get them (the organizer is sending me the info) in a day or two. I know if you pre-register it's $10 or day of is $15 and it goes to a good cause.

Hey everyone, just wanted to put my plug in for this show as well. This is the one year aniversary of our group! This is the show where SIN began. With an idea from my father, Macy and I started having a lot of discussions and decided to start Smarties of Indiana. It would be great if we could get a really big turn out for this to help celebrate! Besides, all the proceeds go to a really great cause.
If anyone is intersted, one of the largest car shows in Northern Indiana is the Muddy River Run. It will be held July 31-Aug 1. This year it is open to all makes, models and years. May be interesting to have a large group of smarts crash this party? Anyway, below is the link for more info if interested:

You would really for go your own home town car show to go to the Muddy River Run? It's to late to pre-register but there is only 2 dollars differance. I'll try to connect a link.
Ooh yea South Whitley I think was the groups second show I hope this year the crazy lady won't be there. But it is on Sept 20 9am to 3pm
O'yea Kendallville had there car show today I signed up in the Import Class were they were giving plaques to top 5 imports .... Got another top 5 plaques now... 3 all together now.
I also picked up a Kroozin' Calendar for 2009 it covers Car & Truck shows, Cruise-ins, and swap meets in Indiana - Ohio - Michigan - Illinois - Kentucky and Wisconsin and some national events. If anyone is looking for a local event near you give me a shout i'll check the calendar for you.
Redwarf, thanks for the info, I didn't know about that one. Are you going? Maybe we can be a pair of smarts. I'll have to talk to the wife, we are supposed to have the niece and nephew that day, not sure if she wants to deal with 4 kids by herself that day or not!
