Car Shows 2009

Ok, I just sent out an e-mail to all the club members reminding them of the car show, and the Poker run. Hopefully we will get some more interested smarties to join us! I really want to see a big turn out for the Poker run. It is such a good cause. 50+ smarts would be great!

Well, there may be a fly in the ointment. After sending out the e-mail, one of our members replied that they thought that Brownstone quit serving breakfast. I'll call them tomorrow and confirm. We may have to pick another venue. He did say there are two other choices right downtown.

I confirmed today, Brownstone is not open for breakfast, I guess we'll just have to pick one of the other eateries downtown for breakfast.

So the plan is the same, meet at Star Bank parking lot, and walk to the restaurant of choice.

No Turbo lady this year, and no trophies either pdboilermaker, and I thought we were in the running for farthest driven but were beat out by 2 1/2 hrs from Michigan and even a Texas. The show was a blast, and so was watching the greased pig contest, luckily we missed the heavy rain but left when it started raining lightly about 3:00pm.
