That is how any dealer should be doing your car. If they are not, then they really don't care about you or your car. Just the bottom dollar.

What do you mean "seven bar syndrome"? Is there another option? How?

Bar seven comes after Bar 6, and before Bar 8. It's two or three Bars past taxicab.

It's a little glitch in the gas guage of some 09's where it constantly reads only 7 bars instead of the full 8 after a fuel top off.

{Semi off topic}
The Creve Couer (St. Louis) dealer isn't too bad. The only thing they missed was the tire pressure was too high...
The day I picked up my smart they detailed it and made it all pretty. Then it started downpouring, totally ruining the fact they did anything. So they offered me another detail clean for a better day.

That must be one hard ride.....even on the interstates where there are 'seams' in the concrete, you hit one thats raised an inch or so and WHAM...OUCH! And here in Indiana we have these things called 'chuck holes' or 'pot holes'. Hit one of THEM with 40psi and you can say "Good bye tire and wheel"! Yea, I bought the warranty, but it still doesn't keep you from being inconvenienced.

Just checked mine too...............29 front, 36 rear!

It amazes me how many gas stations don't sell tire gauges anymore!

I finally got a tire gauge and checked the pressure today. They were very high, so I adjusted them. WOW - what a difference! I felt like I had bricks for tires before and now it is nice and smooth. I'm so glad I got this taken care of. I also filled up with 8.02 gallons of gas. That's a little too close!

While I was taking care of all of these things, two men came over to talk to me about my car. One of them drives from Indy to Marion everyday and said he had been considering it, but wasn't sure if he would fit because of his size. No problem I told him! I think he felt really encouraged and hopefully he'll be seeing Max soon!

The other man said, "Pretty soon the government will have all of us driving one of those." I told him it was fine by me because it was my preference! He swore up and down that he couldn't possibly fit all of his computer tools/equipment in one and so he couldn't buy one. Of course I told him about all the room it really has and about the trailers!

I think I should get a spokesperson fee! If not that, then maybe I'll meet the man of my dreams!

My left rear has been losing pressure for the last couple of weeks - as much as 11 psi overnight!. It's been checked twice by the smart center & no leaks, tire problems, valve stem defects, or rim problems. Strange.
