You're just jealous.
I hope to get some good pics, I told Charla, if she can't use that camera, I'll call a friend that has a fantastic camera, and can take really good pics. I may be in the doghouse for a while over that one.

Pinky red?

Ya know.... Several of the Rallye Red photos posted have a noticeably pinkish look. I know monitor image reproduction, white balance in the camera, image processing variables, yadda, yadda, affect the perceived color, BUT it does seem to be a trend, especially in certain lighting. I've only seen one thread where the color looks like what I would expect - The wait was too long...orphaned my smart

So.... for those who've actually seen the color, would you say that it can look 'pinkish' in certain lighting? The previous red looked more red or more orange depending on the lighting, so I'm wondering if the new red can do the same thing between red and pink.

Just curious...

In MY opinion, NO....NOT AT ALL! I've seen the Rally Red/Black Pure at SCI and it looks great! I just had to bust Wildmans chops on his pic. THAT pic really looked like the old Mopar Panther Pink used on their muscle cars in the early 70's. But it's hard to get an accurate color match on every monitor. Just like TV's, they vary.

Everyone, just post your pics away......we still love looking at smart cars, REGARDLESS of the color.

Big Panda,
I looked at the pictures before we uploaded them, and they didn't look pink, after you posted, I looked again and saw it. Dang lighting, It doesn't look pink in person, and even if it did, I have my smart.

Just wait until you get yours....

I FINALLY started my "Gallery" this morning. Posted some pics of a 'clean' Lil Panda. I also show my mods: Mopar Antenna, Mopar Cargo Net and the Additional Cargo Floor Hook for the Net.

I'll add more as I add accessories. I'll also have pics of Lil Panda 'dressed up' for our "smart Goes to the Indy 500 Track" next month. Maybe even have a pic or two of 'Deer 1' and myself.......MAYBE!
