I am new owner on southside of Indy

I just picked up my new Smart car last week and am having lots of fun driving the car. I purchased the car from Walter at SCI, great folks to do business with. My wife and I took a trip down to Morgan Cty state park on Sunday and had a great time. It sure beats my wifes BMW Z4 as far as comfort goes. Although my wife won't ride with me on I-465 yet LOL. I look forward to meeting all you Smart car owners in the future.

Welcome Ken! You've already found the Indiana chapter, you'll find we are an active(if somewhat different) group. We do have a statewide smart club, PM myself or Einsteins Mommy and we can add your info to our club roster. That way you can be notified by e-mail whenever we have an event. In fact it's going to be a very busy month for us. We are doing a parade in Plymouth Monday(your welcome to join us). Car shows in Warsaw(12th), and South Whitley(20th), and a Poker run in Frankfort on the 26th. It's a great time to own a smartie! Hope to see you at an event soon!

Welcome Ken! I live on the Northside of Indy but work in Greenwood.

We love to see more smart owners here in Central Indiana. There seems to be a plethora of them 'up nort', but not so many around here, at least on SCOA anyway. Knowing that we've gained a new member is awesome and the fact you live in Indy is even better!

Glad you found your way to the Indiana Chapter AND got some info on our Indiana Club (SIN). Since you purchased your smart from SCI, you'll be included automatically in all the emails and reminders from them on their upcoming events. But you might also check here in our Indiana Chapter for them as well, as SCI isn't involved in each and every meet. Walter would go even MORE crazy!

I won't be able to make Plymouth, I will be at Lake Monroe this coming weekend with family. My son's wife is from Warsaw and she told me all about the Blueberry festival, lots of good eats and fun times.

I reluctantly admit, jetful is correct. Oops, it`s dark outside! Ken, it is hoped you were not seriously injured when you picked up your smart. That little car weighs around 1,600 pounds! I have problems picking up a small wrench at times. LOL

but it was not from picking up my SC. By the way, I saw a SC for sale as I entered Clermont on Crawfordville Rd last week.
Also. where is the Apple festival being held at? I would like to make one of the SC geatherings..
I have been called many things, but never a Boilermaker lol. How about an OSU Buckeye.
