Ice in mid to southern Indiana

Our forecasts up here in northern Indiana are saying you all are expected to be hit pretty hard with ice. Hope everyone down there stays safe. Let us know how your doing.

For once the Lake Gods are not unhappy with us, usually they dump on our end of the state, but this time they seem to be sheltering us.

We have about 3" here in Brazil/Terre Haute and it's snowing like crazy

Doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon

The ride home should be FUN

Snow sure beats Ice. I sure wouldn't want o be in KY. THey are looking at up to 1" of Ice before the snow.

Had about 2 inches of snow on the roads this morning, nice and slushy at around 18 degrees. The car did fine with the Pirelli snow tires but it demands your attention. Yellow warning triangle was going on and off constantly as the tires slipped. Also, the ABS will not help you once the tires lose traction - slid through a yellow light at one intersection (my fault, going too fast for conditions.) So, let's be careful out there!
