The final tally was either 12.5 or 12.6", tied for 6th place on record snow falls in Indiana. I think 1910 was first with 16.5" and second was the 'Blizzard of '78" with 15.4" (like I said, 'I think'

).
Just seemed like in 'way back in '78' it was a lot more. Must have been the high winds causing a lot of drifting. There were Army Half-Tracks driving up and down Delaware and Meridian Streets with snow plows on them!
I just stayed inside and watched from my 5th floor apartment window........
