I added it to the list. I have a notebook that I have everything written in.

Jetfuel, have you sent your contact info to anyone? If not, please PM it to me so we can add you to the roster!

Do you like the idea of voting at the Boys and Girls Club Poker Run on the 9th? If so maybe you could just make up a sheet for our club name and have everyone come buy and put a "tick mark" by their favorite

We can do that or what I was thinking was to put a list of the names up and have little pieces of paper that everyone can "cast their vote" on and put into a hat or bucket and then we can count votes and decide like that.

This sounds like a great idea to me. MENSA42, of course your welcome, I am going to add your info today. I'm going to wait a couple of days to send out a new roster, if we get a bunch of new members, I don't want to have to send out 20 e-mails with updates.

Also, just to let people know, Einsteinsmommy and I have been tossing around a lot of ideas about the club. Here is what we've come up with so far:
Try to meet every other month(for now). Will let one of the members volunteer their home town. That way we can vary location each time, and nobady has to drive a long distance every time. That member will be responsible for making arrangements for the meeting place. The thought was to do breakfast or lunch on a Saturday at a local restaurant. Obviously everyone pays for their own meal. During this time, we can have our meeting, to discuss.... well anything really, from show and tell modifications, to planning events, to....???
Anyway, no dues, anyone is free to join. We plan on attending a lot of car shows next year. We want to get our smarties out in force. So far the initial membership has been concentrated in the northern 1/3 of the state. So most of the meetings will probably be up here somewhere. But, we can always expand, or maybe if we get big enough, have two regions, North and South. I only suggest this, because Indiana is a pretty long state, and the logistics of getting everyone together more than once or twice a year would be huge. I will probably send out a monthly or bi-monthy newsletter via e-mail, so I will be asking for editorial pieces to add. Once we have an official name, I'll get us registered on the club link here.
I hope we can get organized and really get the word out about our little cars. I have already mentioned to jwright about the possibility of an Indiana-Ohio meet at Wright Patterson AFB. It would be an awesome location, and I know they host a lot of events.

Anyway, this is just the initial template, we are always open to suggestions.

By the way, I am casting the first vote for Einsteinsmommy to be President!

I second everything stated above and cast the first official vote for WhiteNBlack08 for VP.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween everyone!

they actually have this every Saturday evening from spring to Labor Day, but that weekend is just an enormous event.

something to think about.......

I've been trying to get a group together to drive in the blueberry parade, just for fun. No entry fee and it's during Labor Day weekend, so I won't be able to attend the one in Greenwood.
