We received our plate a few days ago. Indiana is a somewhat long / painful process to get the plate, but we like it. It's a Norte Dame plate that reads

SMRT1

Question to all of you who HAVE your INDIANA personalized plate:

I received my letter in the mail saying I can 'renew by mail'. Has anyone done this to get the plate they reserved? My form has my current plate number on it, not "PANDA 1" which I reserved. I'm afraid that if I send this in, I'll just get a sticker to renew my current plate.

The accompanying letter says that I have to take the letter along with my current registration to my local branch.

SO, can get "PANDA 1" BY MAIL or do I have to do it IN PERSON?
